Week three

Impossible to believe that we are at week three, even more impossible
to conceive is that the sun is still shining , please continue. Had
our camp , seemed to go well , hope people enjoyed themselves . A few
tricky moments, merlin and archie bolting whilst logging because teddy
brayed which spooked merlin which set them off . Nearly wiped out
several cars and adrians head ( he had to break roll out ofvthe way
and has a nasty whiplash mark on his leg. Felt proud of myself for
catching them(brian helped),it is always quite exciting when an animal
needs catching. Felt pretty knackered by Sunday , endless hostess
(probably not very good at it quite an effort to be nice all the
time . Some amazing swimming around the water park , thewhole
landscape and weather reminded me of being on holiday in France. Put
my jeans on last night , not only were they not looser but possibly
tighter , for gods sake, it is the beer , lack of mirrors and bread .
My ambition to be 9 stone is slipping away and I fear I will be lucky
to hang on to being 10 stone . Peoples genersoity knows no bounds , we
are currently in siddington at the wonderful georgie Hayward house ,
beautiful beautiful house and grounds , use of a cottage , supper and
breakfast plus billets sorted with her friends for the next few
nights . "real life seems further and further away, a car journey
tricky, people in cars look so unhappy ? So, time for a quick lie down
and then take the beasts down to the village playing field for a meet
and greet session !

Catch up

It is all very calm , molly Adrian and Scott have left so it is just
me,anna,Lucy,sally,luke,toby and the menagerie We have spent the
morning sorting out the camp for the weekend looks great
Week high lights:
Swimming in the nature reserve with tthe ducks
Swimming at cherington
Making a short film on Kemble station which involved toby dressed as
an egyptian walking merlin onto the station and the station master
asking in a bored voice to "get that donkey off the platform"
The endless beautiful country side that we are walking through
Adrian bretts idiocy including pretend hoovering
The patience of all on the trip
My new found like of jasper ( although his poo this morning which has
been subsequently picked up by the noisy mower and efficiently spread
all around where we are camping has challenged that )
The beauty and stength of merlin archie Chester and teddy.
Week Bad things: a small flying creature flew into my ear and is
unable to fly out , it had tried to fly out and hadn't made it, it is
slowly dying in my ear
Luke leAving tomorrow he has been far to useful and we will miss him
Slightly breaking the connection on the solar panel and quietly hoping
that it is still working ok and knowing that I can't blame it on the
dog.
Everything going too quickly
Having to drive to Lidl and wondering how we could have got it so wrong
Suspecting that I am still 10 stone

Tired but ok , long walk today which was good. Lots of laughs Adrian
and luke ridiculous too tired to write will do tomorrow. Looking back
have had a ridiculous few days donkeys on
Kemble station for a start .
