I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the wrong time......Belas Knap lay-by above Winchcombe at about 10.00 this morning.
ReplyDeleteThere I was met by the friendly and motley Archie the donkey, Jo the storyteller, Ollie the reluctant camp follower et al!
I joined in...restraining an eager Archie as he clipped his way down Corndean Lane towards downtown Winchcombe. (Eddie Izzard never had this problem jogging!)
I hope the school workshop went well....and can I say that anyone lucky enough to meet this troupe on the road, is in for a treat. And to certain drivers who failed to use their own reverse gear, whilst expecting a donkey & cart to do so....."Don't be a lemon....just draw over, smile and speak to the players...take it easy, slow down and 'chill'"!
